Description: After School Art Club is a fun time to get together on Zoom for some arts and crafts that you can make in the comfort of your home! All Art Supplies will be delivered to families in Chester County by November 14. (Or, a list of supplies will be emailed in advance to families outside of Chester County.) Together we will step-by-step go over a simple craft and we will close each session with a book before saying goodbye!

Activity 1: Gratefulness Rocks

Together we will paint rocks with words and/or images to remind us of what we are grateful for in life. Once finished, use it as a Thanksgiving table decoration, keep it on your windowsill, your pocket, or anywhere you’d like to remind yourself of all the beauty that is in your life.

Location: Zoom; please register for the link.

Accommodations: Thanks to a generous grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, we are able to provide accommodations for any child or family member with a disability to attend jkidphilly events. If you need an accommodation such as an ASL interpreter, a sensory toolbox, or even behavior support for your child, or if you have questions about the accessibility of any program or venue, please note so on our form or contact us. In most cases, our staff will need two weeks’ notice to provide accommodations, but we will do our best to meet your needs on any timeframe.

Covid Policy: For our in-person events, we’ll work together to take care of our community by following these guidelines:

For outdoor programming:

  • Masks are optional

For indoor programming:

  • Non-cloth (n95, KN95, surgical) masks are required for children ages 2 years+ and adults
  • Registering in advance (and limiting programs to 20 families) to assure that we have room to socially distance;

For all programming:

  • Staying at home if anyone in the family has a cold, cough, fever, or other symptoms, or has been exposed to anyone with COVID-19.
