Fried Fish & Chips
Ingredients
- 8 pieces fresh fish
- 1-2 cups Goya cornmeal
- 1-2 cups New Orleans Seasoned Fish Fry
- 5-8 potatoes
- frying oil
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat a fryer or deep pot halfway filled with oil to 350 F.
- Cut the potatoes with a fry cutter and place in the fryer. Set aside when done and add salt to taste.
- In a separate bowl, combine the seasoned fish fry and the cornmeal.
- Dredge the fish in the mixture and place in the fryer.
- Deep fry for approximately 7–8 minutes until done.
- Drain on paper towels.
