Bonnie and Eric Globerman with Hadley, 8.5 and Makayla, 5.
We spoke to Bonnie and Eric Globerman about their favorite Jewish activities, their connection to Jewish community, and the ways jkidphilly has impacted their family.
What do you enjoy about jkidphilly?
jkidphilly has had some great programming and has given us an opportunity to do things and meet new people both with and without our children.
What kind of Jewish activities do you enjoy at home?
PJ library books are some of our favorite books to read. We also enjoy Shabbat rituals. This year was extra special for us. We moved to PA to be closer to family and hosted our first seder in our home.
What are your favorite PJ Library books?
‘A Challah Tale’ is our favorite! Challah is one of our favorite Jewish foods and this book always makes us laugh.
Are you part of any other organized Jewish communities?
We belong to Ohev Shalom of Bucks County.
Have you connected with other jkidphilly families?
Going to jkidphilly events makes a big community feel stronger. We regularly attend events for both the Doylestown and Lower Bucks groups. It is always great to see familiar faces from synagogue, preschool and camp as well as meet new people.
What do you think other parents should know about jkidphilly?
jkidphilly is filled with many well organized events. It is a great opportunity to incorporate Jewish life into your family with easy kid friendly activities!
