We spoke to Lora and Michael Rigatti about their favorite Jewish activities, their connection to Jewish community, and the ways jkidphilly has impacted their family.
What do you enjoy about jkidphilly?
We love attending the jkidphilly events. We are getting to slowly know other families in the community with children around our son’s age.
What kind of Jewish activities do you enjoy at home?
We enjoy reading our PJ library books, lighting the candles on Friday night and enjoying challah both on Friday nights and Saturday mornings!
What are your favorite PJ Library books?
Our favorite book is Israel. We received it last year a few weeks after we returned from Israel. We love to show Josh all of the places we travelled to.
Are you part of any other organized Jewish communities
We are a part of the Honeymoon Israel Community.
What do you think other parents should know about jkidphilly?
There is a wide range of events for you depending on the age(s) of your child(ren) and interests. They are always low pressure in case your child is like mine and prefers to run around the room! Your local leader is always open to suggestions too!
