Avi and Michael Koffler and their children, Rachel, 5 and Max, 3, enjoy coming to jkidphilly programs and especially doing mitzvah projects at our “Little Hands Make a Big Difference” programs.
We asked Avi and Michael about their Jewish life at home and in the community.
What are your favorite PJ Library books?
Favorites include the Sammy Spider series, the Dinosaur series (Dinosaur Goes to Israel, etc.), the Sadie series and the Mitvah-related books such as Found and Baby Be Kind. All of the books are great.
Are you part of any other organized Jewish communities?
Yes, we are part of Har Zion synagogue, preschool and camp.
What do you think other parents should know about jkidphilly?
We think parents should know that in order to keep these wonderful programs going it is important to raise money to support them! We are looking forward to a very fun night at the “Pajama Ball” benefit in October to support Pj Library and other jkidphilly programs.
