Description: Why wait until Friday afternoon to get ready for Shabbat? Come craft with us, nosh a little, and hear a story. Part 3 of our three-part Shabbat prep series features the book The World Needs Beautiful Things, read by the author Leah Rachel Berkowitz!

We will create a centerpiece garden, or center-peace garden, for your Shabbat table so you can have a true Shabbat Shalom – a peaceful and beautiful Shabbat.

Gather some of these objects to have on hand, such as:

  • Sticks (popsicle or otherwise) or pencils
  • Stones, leaves, or natural items from a walk
  • Plastic pouch tops, glass gems
  • Pipe cleaners
  • String, tape, glue, hot glue
  • Paper, cardboard, markers, paint
  • Whatever you have will work!

Location: Your home! You will receive the zoom link after registration.

Date and Time: Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 4:00pm to 4:30pm

Recommended Ages: Ages 3-8 (siblings always welcome!)
