Description: Sharing stories is our greatest tool for connection and understanding. Parents, caregivers, and older children, 12+, can join residents of Horsham Center for Jewish Life in a facilitated Story Circle — a method of sharing our stories in a nurturing and open-hearted space.

Younger children (with a parent/caregiver) will engage in a visual storytelling activity, sharing who they are and what matters to them, with Horsham Center residents.

Covid Policy: For our in-person events, we’ll work together to take care of our community by following these guidelines:

For outdoor programming:

  • Masks are optional

For indoor programming:

  • Non-cloth (n95, KN95, surgical) masks are required for children ages 2 years+ and adults
  • Registering in advance (and limiting programs to 20 families) to assure that we have room to socially distance;

For all programming:

  • Staying at home if anyone in the family has a cold, cough, fever, or other symptoms, or has been exposed to anyone with COVID-19.

Location: An indoor location in North Wales, PA; please register for the exact address.

Accommodations: Thanks to a generous grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, we are able to provide accommodations for any child or family member with a disability to attend jkidphilly events. If you need an accommodation such as an ASL interpreter, a sensory toolbox, or even behavior support for your child, or if you have questions about the accessibility of any program or venue, please note so on our form or contact us. In most cases, our staff will need two weeks’ notice to provide accommodations, but we will do our best to meet your needs on any timeframe.
