Description: Always wanted to try pottery? Have fun at our 2 -session pottery workshops, perfect for beginners interested in learning more about clay. The first session will take place on Thursday, January 29th and the second session will be on Thursday, February 12th. This is an adults only class where you will learn how to create on the wheel as well as hand-building with clay. The bowl and tray will be perfect to use at your next Shabbat dinner!
The first session you will be using clay to create the tray with clay and then work on the wheel to create the small bowl. Cynthia will fire the pieces in the kiln. and then at the second session, we will glaze the bowl and tray. Session includes all materials (2+ finished pieces), kiln firing, and all instruction. Class led by Cynthia and our creative assistants. Bring a friend or come on your own. It will be a fun workshop and you’ll come away with beautiful clay pieces.
