Description: The darkest day of the year falls in December (this year, Thursday, the 21st, to be exact) so please join jkidpride families and allies for a “Bring in the Light” story time and snack. I’ll read a selection of light-themed stories, we’ll talk about the Jewish value of hatmadah — to persevere — and then jkidpride will pick up the tab for a sweet treat in the cafe afterwards to brighten these darkest days of winter.
Every registered family in attendance will get a free gift to take home!
Location: An indoor location in Plymouth Meeting; register to receive the exact location.
Date and Time: Sunday, December 17, 2023, 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM

Accommodations: Thanks to a generous grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, we are able to provide accommodations for any child or family member with a disability to attend jkidphilly events. If you need an accommodation such as an ASL interpreter, a sensory toolbox, or even behavior support for your child, or if you have questions about the accessibility of any program or venue, please note so on our form or contact us. In most cases, our staff will need two weeks’ notice to provide accommodations, but we will do our best to meet your needs on any timeframe.
Covid Policy:
For our in-person events, we’ll work together to take care of our community.
For indoor programming: Non-cloth (n95, KN95, surgical) masks are suggested for children ages 2 years+ and adults
For outdoor programming: Masks are optional
For all programming: Staying at home if anyone in the family has a cold, cough, fever, or other symptoms, or has been exposed to anyone with COVID-19.
