A child is never too young to learn what it means to take care of the world! As part of the Travis Manion Foundation’s Week of Service, jkidphilly families will do park cleanup at Wharton Square. We will meet on the grass on the northeast side of the park for a Tikkun Olam story and snack, and then will proceed to pick up trash on the field and playground (bags, gloves, and hand sanitizer will be provided) at 10:30am. Since there will be children of different ages, with varying attention spans and naptimes, you can gauge how long to keep working. We will finish cleanup around 11:20, and all are welcome to stay and bond with other jkidphilly families on the playground for as long as you like!
