Description: Join jkidphilly for a fun, interactive, chef-led class with Aurora Satler, cookbook author and culinary instructor, where we will make beautiful Garden Bread. Your children will love creating edible artwork that’s both beautiful and delicious.

This class will take place on Sunday, February 13th at 3:30pm in your own kitchen just in time for the Super Bowl. This will be a delicious and eye catching snack for any party, or your family! There is usually a charge for this class, but it is free for jkidphilly families!

Ingredients:

  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 ball of pizza dough
  • 2 asparagus stalks (you can also substitute 2 scallions)
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 purple carrot (you can substitute a red onion)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 radish
  • 1 plum tomato
  • Several small basil leaves
  • Chives
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons grated Parmesan
  • 1 clove garlic

Aurora Satler is the author of The Ultimate New Mom’s Cookbook, winner of a 2018 National Parenting Award. She is also a culinary instructor and recipe developer who specializes in simple, healthy, tasty meals for the whole family. Previously Aurora worked as the creative director of Many Kitchens and owned her own New York City catering company. She is a graduate of NYU and the Institute of Culinary Education. You may have seen her or just her hands in numerous culinary tutorials, and her work as a food stylist is disbursed throughout web, print, and video.
