Description: Striving, caring and making a difference for our neighbors in need. Bring the Jewish value of chesed, loving-kindness, to our neighbors in need in an open-house setting, with three mitzvah projects to choose from:

  1. Create sleeping mats for displaced individuals living on our city streets hosted by Integrate for Good.
  2. Assemble personal care kits for Project Home’s 18 supportive housing residences.
  3. Make tie-knot blankets for patients at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

All supplies will be provided. We welcome donations of plastic bags (for sleeping mats), and personal care items (bar soap, body wash, body wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, lip balm, pocket-size tissues, travel-size first-aid kits, hand sanitizer, foot healing cream, and socks).
