Description: Frustration…stress…distress…temper… meltdowns… These are all different exits on the Anger Highway. It’s almost impossible for your child to be social or learn when emotionally overwhelmed. When using the wrong supportive strategy at the wrong time, you can unwittingly escalate your child and make things worse! With compassion for both child AND caregiver, Mike will teach you his unique “EMOTIONAL GPS” framework. E-GPS guides the both child AND YOU in the use specific strategies tailored for four levels of frustration and anger. Learn practical language and strategies to help your child decrease the frequency of overreactions and meltdowns, and improve recovery time if meltdowns occur.
