Description: Why wait until Friday afternoon to get ready for Shabbat? Come craft with us, nosh a little, and hear a story. Episode 2 of our three-part Shabbat prep series is about spicing up your table settings. This month includes a cloth napkin painting kit!
The first 30 families to register by Tuesday, January 11, 2022 will be eligible for a kit. (Pickup locations in Lower Merion, Elkins Park, Upper Dublin, and Center City. Exact time and place TBA)
In your kit:
- 4 cloth napkins
- Fabric paints
- Stencils
- Sponges for application
- Masking tape
You will need:
- Protective cover for your workspace (vinyl tablecloth)
- Protective layer under napkin (cut up a cereal box or paper shopping bag)
- Provide your own nosh (snack) if necessary.
Third Thursdays from 4:00-4:30 PM:
- December 16, 2021- Soup and Bone Button Borscht
- January 20, 2022 – Cloth napkins kit and The Shabbat Spice
- February 17, 2022 – Recycled Centerpieces and The World Needs Beautiful
