Description: Join jkidphilly Center City families on Sunday of MLK Day weekend to volunteer! Together we will go to JRA for JRA Juniors and pack boxes of food with other families with young children. (JRA Juniors is a time set aside for families with kids ages 10 and younger.) After we pack boxes of food, we will also have the option to deliver the boxes together to a nearby apartment building. JRA Juniors is a great family volunteer experience! When you register, you can sign up to either pack boxes of food, or pack and deliver. There will also be coffee and bagels to enjoy! We look forward to seeing you there!

Accommodations: Thanks to a generous grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, we are able to provide accommodations for any child or family member with a disability to attend jkidphilly events. If you need an accommodation such as an ASL interpreter, a sensory toolbox, or even behavior support for your child, or if you have questions about the accessibility of any program or venue, please note so on our form or contact us. In most cases, our staff will need two weeks’ notice to provide accommodations, but we will do our best to meet your needs on any timeframe.

Covid Policy: For our in-person events, we’ll work together to take care of our community.

For indoor programming: Non-cloth (n95, KN95, surgical) masks are suggested for children ages 2 years+ and adults

For outdoor programming: Masks are optional

For all programming: Staying at home if anyone in the family has a cold, cough, fever, or other symptoms, or has been exposed to anyone with COVID-19.
