Description: Songs, challah, and playground fun—join jkidphilly as we welcome Shabbat! We have two different locations to choose from!

Let’s come together for a joyful afternoon of connection and play with other Jewish families as we head into Shabbat. Families can chat while children enjoy the playground, and we’ll gather to sing songs with the beloved music teachers from Perelman Jewish Day School. We’ll share challah and grape juice as a community, and every family will leave with a piece of Shabbat to bring home.

This is a welcoming, inclusive space—whether you’ve never observed Shabbat before or celebrate every week, everyone is invited to join us. The program is geared toward preschool and young elementary-aged children, but all siblings are encouraged to join in the fun.
