Description: We don’t often think about the Holocaust in terms of hope and resilience, but Philadelphia author Sharon Sorokin encourages us to do just that in her book, Ziggy’s Potato.

Ziggy’s Potato is a gentle introduction to the Holocaust for children aged 8 and up, and it is based on a true story. The book’s gorgeous illustrations by Helen Cann demand closer inspection, as they add to the story’s simple and elegant narration.

Join us on Zoom for what promises to be a fascinating lunch break in commemoration of Yom Hashoah.
