Description: Join me and other jkidphilly families for Tot Shabbat at a local synagogue. The theme for the evening is ‘Light the Candles and Spin the Dreidel.’ This is a fun and interactive Shabbat program for families!

I will be setting up a Hanukkah craft station before Tot Shabbat, along with a donut decorating station after Tot Shabbat services that you can enjoy after dinner, or take home with you.

You can come and just stay for the service and activities (free for all families), or you can also enjoy a beautiful and deliciously prepared meal as well after the service! Register here for Tot Shabbat, and if you are also staying for dinner, make sure to also RSVP for dinner (you will see that link after you register for Tot Shabbat). I hope to see you there!

Location: An indoor space in West Chester; please register for the exact location.

Date and Time: Friday, December 2, 2022, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Cost: Tot Shabbat service and activities are free of charge. Dinner is free for synagogue-member families and $26 for non-synagogue-member families.

Accommodations: Thanks to a generous grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, we are able to provide accommodations for any child or family member with a disability to attend jkidphilly events. If you need an accommodation such as an ASL interpreter, a sensory toolbox, or even behavior support for your child, or if you have questions about the accessibility of any program or venue, please note so on our form or contact us. In most cases, our staff will need two weeks’ notice to provide accommodations, but we will do our best to meet your needs on any timeframe.

Covid Policy: For our in-person events, we’ll work together to take care of our community by following these guidelines:

For outdoor programming:

  • Masks are optional

  • Registering in advance (and limiting programs to 20 families) to assure that we have room to socially distance;
