All About The PJ Library Swap And Drop Program

After my first son’s bris, Cantor Mark Kushner, our mohel, gave us detailed instructions about how to properly care for the baby and also how to sign up to receive free PJ Library books!  I registered my first born within a few months, and now (9 years later), all 3 of my kids are receiving monthly PJ books.  The baby who we initially enrolled in the program has since transitioned to the PJ Our Way subscription and currently enjoys selecting his own titles!

Each year, as my three children depart for summer camp, I look forward to them unplugging from electronics and tuning in to the many enriching experiences camp offers. Camp provides children with countless opportunities to make and maintain friendships, explore new activities, and enjoy the outdoors. This year, my youngest son tried out for the camp play and landed the leading role! Having never participated in a play, I was in awe of the confidence he had developed at camp!

Prayer, Synagogue and Kids: One Dad's Perspective

I glance over at the person on my right in shul, fervently rocking back and forth while the sounds of prayers are heard all around.  But she actually is not praying at all. She is my three year old and she is in the middle of a staring contest with the man three rows ahead of us while she tears open her lollipop.
