Description: Join other jkidphilly parents and baker Shevy for another culinary adventure (Shevy has previously led wonderful challah programs with us). * Ingredients for pecan pie
1 frozen pie crust (12 in circle)
3 Tbsp margarine, melted
3 ½ oz dark chocolate cut into chunks
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp light brown sugar
½ tsp sea salt
1 cup dark corn syrup
¾ tsp vanilla extract
3 eggs, beaten
2 Tbsp bourbon (or other liquor you have at home)
1 heaping cup pecan halves
Ingredients for ice cream toppings
Vanilla ice-cream (or other flavor of your choice)
1 bag of strawberries
1 cup of lemon juice
2 Tbsp sugar
5 cups cornflakes
2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp margarine or coconut oil
