Description: This series explores Israel in a new way – through the five senses and through Israel’s heart and soul – her people.

What are the tastes and smells that transport you back to happy times of childhood? Hani Reuveni, teacher and home chef, will teach us to make two (easy) beloved food favorites of Israeli kids kids: Petit Beurre Cakes and Za’atar Pita Chips.

Join us to create some new food memories together! Grandparents are more than welcome!

You will need the following ingredients and materials: (exact amounts and recipes will be sent in a follow-up email)

  • Za’atar spice blend
  • Olive oil
  • Pita bread
  • Cream cheese
  • Heavy cream
  • Milk
  • Chocolate chips
  • Soom tahini
  • Kedem Tea Biscuits
  • Osem vanilla pudding mix
  • Baking tin
